This book was a struggle for me。My opinion might have been different if I would have read instead of listen to it。 In the audiobook, the person reading this book makes you feel like there is not one period or a comma in the entire book。 You are not sure where a paragraph ended and another one started。 The voice are very weird too。 The kid sounds like an old man, the women sound like men。 It was extremely hard to follow。Secondly the book's plot is simplistic at best and the ending is a bit ridicu This book was a struggle for me。My opinion might have been different if I would have read instead of listen to it。 In the audiobook, the person reading this book makes you feel like there is not one period or a comma in the entire book。 You are not sure where a paragraph ended and another one started。 The voice are very weird too。 The kid sounds like an old man, the women sound like men。 It was extremely hard to follow。Secondly the book's plot is simplistic at best and the ending is a bit ridiculous。 Also not reading the previous books in this series played against me as there are a lot of back stories and a lot of times it felt like I arrived in the middle of a party。。 。。。more

A great conclusion to an excellent series。 Jane has overcome a lot and is just trying to find her footing with her son and her ex, Reid。 True to Coble fashion, before they even have a chance to settle in, things heat up in ways I could not believe。 This story wrenched my heart as the bad guy went into territory you hope and pray against。 I love the testimony and strength of her son, Will and pray for the same grace in my own sons。 Coble is the master at drawing your heart into moments of tendern A great conclusion to an excellent series。 Jane has overcome a lot and is just trying to find her footing with her son and her ex, Reid。 True to Coble fashion, before they even have a chance to settle in, things heat up in ways I could not believe。 This story wrenched my heart as the bad guy went into territory you hope and pray against。 I love the testimony and strength of her son, Will and pray for the same grace in my own sons。 Coble is the master at drawing your heart into moments of tenderness and truth, then ramping it up with action and suspense。 A truly riveting ride all suspense readers are sure to enjoy。 I thoroughly enjoyed this family during this series and loved the ending that wrapped it all up into a satisfying conclusion。 If you have not read the previous books in the series, you will still enjoy this one, but there are spoilers。 I highly recommend reading in order to receive the full benefits。 I received a copy from the publisher and all opinions expressed are my own, freely given。 。。。more

Loved every page! :-) So glad Reid, Jane, and Will finally got their happy ending, and I enjoyed the three-book-journey it took to get there。 I also liked the author’s note at the end and appreciated the different ways Coble left the side character relationships。 Great suspense。 Great narration。 And I REALLY want a beignet!

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 After how much I hated the first two in this series, I was surprised that I liked this one。 However, the villain is easily discernible, and the whole dirty bomb plot is rather silly。 It would have made better sense if she stuck to simply gun running, which is quite verifiable, and would have been easier to accept。

Rounding up to four stars。 I enjoyed the first part of the book and was really baffled about what was going on with the mystery, but then things just seemed to get too unrealistic, and I wasn't crazy about the identity or back story of the bad guy。 I guess this just wasn't one of her strongest stories (and I've read most of them)。 Rounding up to four stars。 I enjoyed the first part of the book and was really baffled about what was going on with the mystery, but then things just seemed to get too unrealistic, and I wasn't crazy about the identity or back story of the bad guy。 I guess this just wasn't one of her strongest stories (and I've read most of them)。 。。。more
